Where you always want to go and never want to leave !
Hello, Welcome to our dream come true on Bull Shoals Lake!
We are the Malone’s, Harold and Pam. We purchased Blue Waters Resort in March 2009. Harold and I are the proud parents of 5 children and 5 grandchildren. Pam was born and raised in St. Louis and recently retired from Schnucks Supermarkets where she spent the last 31 years. Harold was born in Rolla Mo but spent the majority of his adult life in St. Louis. Harold spent several years in the Military before becoming a letter carrier in Creve Coeur Missouri. He retired in October of 2008.
We love fishing, watching the sunset from the front porch, boating and people. Our guests come back every year to spend their vacation here and we are very happy to have become a part of the Blue Waters Family.
We have been planning on purchasing a resort on the lake for the last 20 years and spent the last 2 looking for a perfect location. We found it here at Blue Waters Resort – crystal clear waters, great fishing, and an ideal place for an old fashioned family vacation. We are one hour from Branson in a secluded location where you can feel the tension melt away as you drive to the resort.
With over 1000 miles of shoreline to explore, there are plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, ski, go tubing, or snorkeling. You can even swim in both Missouri and Arkansas at the same time by anchoring your boat on the state line in the lake. Bull Shoals is one of the premier places to fish in the Midwest. With over 14 species of fish in the lake including: Smallmouth, Largemouth & White Bass, Catfish, Perch, Bluegill, Striped Bass and Walleye. We have a fishing guide available just ask when you make your reservation or we will pass along the current hot tips from our local fisherman.
You can fish from the dock, or bring your own boat, or rent one from us – we have 2 pontoons, a fish / ski and a bass boat.
When it comes time for sightseeing you can visit Branson, which is one hour away. Explore the shops, shows, restaurants, my favorite Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Theater if you come in December you can see the Trail of Lights and Silver Dollar City especially during the Fall Fest. Don’t miss the original Bald Knobbers show or Noah the Musical, in the mood for shopping? Stop by Branson Landing – a great outdoor mall 100 stores and 10 restaurants .When you’re tired, return to your own private retreat here at Blue Waters Resort away from the crowds and traffic.
So pack your gear – all of the cabins are fully furnished housekeeping units, you just need to bring your clothes, food, and favorite beverage along with your fishing / swimming gear and come visit us.
We will do our best to make your stay a pleasant one. Harold and I invite you to become part of the Blue Waters Family!
